From crochet to woodworking, hobbies enrich our lives. Work with others on the things that bring you joy in a welcoming environment. Shared provides the Skills, Supplies, and Spaces to foster community while creating.

Workshops: Live stream (also in person starting 2026)
Tutorials: We are building video libraries with written instructions from many creators, on a wide range of subjects.
Guides: Support from experienced makers, from tips to problem solving

When we have our workshop built out (2026), we will welcome you to bring your own or use Shared supplies!
Equipment: The core essentials for many hobbies. Sewing machines, power tools, easels, and more.
Tools: Tons to select from to find those that work best for you or to try something entirely new.
Materials: Bring your own or use salvage, scrap, and donated goods.

Our free virtual open mic to showcase our members and their many talents. Register as a performer, to show & tell, or just be in the audience.
Share your resources
Our workshop is built by the community. Donated supplies, equipment, time and talents, it is all welcome and appreciated.

If it works, we’ll put it to good use. Commonly donated tools are:
Scissors
Crafting knives
Hand tools (screwdrivers, pliers, hammers)
Sculpting/modeling tools
Power tools (drills, sanders)

Have something that you just know others could put to good use, but you don’t know where to send it? Ask us! We accept equipment donations and can even arrange pickup.

At Shared, we form inclusive communities to share skills, create in the company of others, and foster growth while using shared resources and reducing waste.
