Virtual Beaded Plant Workshop (Sat July 11, 1-2 pm EST)
Love plants but don’t have a green thumb? Beaded plants are just the thing for you. Join a fun virtual crafting session from the comfort of home. We will walk you through the process of making your own beaded plant step by step. No prior experience or crafting skill required!
The week of the workshop, Shared will mail you a kit with all the supplies you need: a small pot, foam insert, moss, floral wire, hanging chain, and embellishments. You can purchase pliers as an add on if you need them. You will also receive a Google Meet invite for the virtual workshop.
During the workshop, you will make your plant live with other attendees, guided by a Shared member. It’s a wonderful chance to connect with other makers, ask questions, share ideas, and feel boosted as you craft. While you can make your kit on your own, we encourage everyone to take the opportunity to engage live with other participants and our guide.
Shared uses donated and repurposed materials wherever possible. Individual patterns and colors may vary slightly from those shown but will still produce the desired final product.
